Wow – that’s a lotta drool going on.

He only drools at mealtime. Otherwise, there’s no slobber at all.

Now that’s what I call anticipation!

Kinta is an eager puppy, but he especially loves mealtime. 😉

When our beagle had his first stroke, he too had a drooling problem and I made him wear a scarf to wipe up the mess. Thankfully after a couple of months he learned to keep his mouth closed again and the drooling ceased.

Fortunately, this only happens at mealtime, so no medical issue involved. He’s just an eager boy. 🙂

Thank you for my giggle of the day! Who could resist that look? The drool is an added feature! 🙂

How very patient and well behaved he was not to defy you and tuck in, gave me a bit of a chuckle though, I’m glad mine don’t do it. 🙂

Thankfully, he only does this if he has to wait. Part of retriever training includes waiting…and it’s so hard sometimes.

Mine does this too, if we make him wait long enough. Torture I say! lol

Indeed.
But it is a good example of control, on Kinta’s part, anyway.

When I fed Kinta the other night this happened. Mary had the quick thinking to grab a camera.

Kinta’s an eager pleaser pup for sure. He brings us lots of smiles. We’ll miss him when he goes home in September.

Hahahaha! That’s my Walker! He always leaves a giant puddle while dinner is being put together. I just do a happy dance!

Kinta’s pretty multipurpose, he does a twirly-bouncy dance too! He’s pretty happy right now since we just told him that his mom is coming for a visit from Japan in about a month. I so enjoy our happy canine family. 🙂

He goes home mid September. 😦
His family is wonderful and really dear friends. We will have to make a trip to Japan to visit them all. Kinta is the 3rd golden we’ve raised for them.

that’s nice that you have developed such a relationship with Kinta’s family. It’s kind of like our family with guide dog pups.

Yes. When you care for them and know they belong to someone else, it is really foster care. I’m so thankful they visit…so is Kinta.
How long does a guide dog pup remain with you?

They are with us for a year. It goes by quickly!

I remember some years ago I went to a house for a painting commission of a Great Dane, there was slobber as the ceiling, It looked it had been there for a long time, I felt a bit icky, so added a little on to the commission. LOL
