The Blind Date – Her Side

Another four years! Happy 34th Anniversary, Tim!

Sneaking Bliss

Today, Tim and I celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Tim and Mary Livingston Wedding Our favorite wedding photo. A quiet moment, just us two.

I am not surprised we made 30 years. However, it does surprise me that we made it past the first date, and the second…this is my side of the story. If you want his side, he’ll tell you over on his blog today The Blind Date – His Side. Interesting how we each recall these events. 😉

This is what I looked like when we met. This is what I looked like when we met.

Kelly, a coworker came into the camera store and asked how I felt about blind dates.

“I don’t.” My response was simple. It was only a week after I started the job. I worked with this person for a total of thirteen hours. Not long enough to trust her judgment to set me…

Another Organic Mouser

I was happy to see this beautiful gopher snake this afternoon. Our mouse population is having a boom,

Puppy Play

Mama Tasha has pretty much weaned the pups. That’s okay with them, they have one-year-old Phanny to play with. Too much fun.

On the Hunt

Yesterday we celebrated three years with Sailor with a nice pheasant hunt. He was joined by Bliss and Phanny. Tasha stayed home with the puppies. We’ll have to make it up to her.

Pheasant Hunting with our Golden Retrievers

New Puppy Bliss

Earlier this month, Tim and I headed north to Saturday Night Golden Retrievers in Montana with Sailor, Tasha, and Bliss. We were on a special mission to bring home the newest addition to our retrievers.
Welcome home Phanny, our little Saturday Night Redtail Phantom.
Phanny’s off to a nice start. Bliss thinks we got a new puppy just for her as a playmate. Tasha keeps an eye on her. Sailor’s worried about sharing. Phanny is taking it all in. She loves swimming and getting her start as a hunting retriever. Here are some shots of Phanny’s first week home. Click to enlarge.
When you’re done here, check out Tim’s post and photos of the road trip.

It’s been a long time since I drew any dogs.  I did a few drawings and paintings of one of my roommate’s wonderful dogs, Bacchus, 40+ years ago, and I think I…

The Mouse and the Fire Pit Mystery

I came across a curious scene the other day. We’ve had some young house guests for a few weeks. I’m not quite sure of the story behind this display. Captions welcome.
